What is Merck ConnectTM? 

Merck Connect is an integrated suite of resources designed to provide licensed US health care professionals with access to Merck product information, condition information, patient support content, and professional education materials. A single log in also allows you to:

  • Request available product samples for your appropriate patients
  • Download copies of professional resources
  • Request available coupons and/or vouchers for your appropriate patients
  • Access other Merck professional sites
Is there a cost to access Merck Connect? 

No. There is no cost for licensed US health care professionals to access Merck Connect.

Who can register for Merck Connect? 

Licensed US health care professionals only may register for Merck Connect.

How do I register for Merck Connect? 

From any page on Merck Connect, simply click the "Register" link at the top or side of the page and enter the appropriate information. All fields that include a red asterisk (*) are required. All of the information you submit on this form is protected under our privacy policy.

Why should I register for Merck Connect? 

US health care professionals get access to request available product samples, coupons, and/or vouchers for your appropriate patients and up-to-date professional resources when you register for Merck Connect. Your Merck Connect registration also gives you access to other Merck professional sites.

Why do I need to provide my medical education number, AOA number, or state license number to register? 

We need to verify that you are a licensed US health care professional to grant you access to certain services and resources on Merck Connect. Call the American Medical Association (AMA) at 1-800-262-3211 if you don’t have your medical education number.

What should I do if I don’t know my medical education number from the American Medical Association (AMA)? 

Call the AMA at 1-800-262-3211 to get your number.

Log in and My Account

What should I do if I am having trouble with my Merck Connect log in? 

If you are having trouble logging in to Merck Connect, call our site technology experts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–7:00 PM ET at 1-800-489-5119.

How do I change my account information and password? 

Once you've logged in to Merck Connect, click on your user name at the top of the page to edit your password and account information.

Requesting Product Samples

How do I request product samples? 

Click on “Services” in the main navigation and select “Request Product Samples” to begin the request process.

Why haven’t I received the samples I requested? 

Samples are shipped to you as soon as the appropriate authorization has been received.

Validated MDs, DOs, and other licensed practitioners (depending on state-level requirements) can expect to receive samples within 14 business days of Merck receiving the signed and dated Sample Request Form.

Who do I contact with questions about my sample request?

How do I contact my Merck Sales Representative? 

Simply call 1-800-442-5624 from Monday through Thursday 8 AM – 8 PM ET, Friday 8 AM – 6 PM ET and we will assist you. Hours are subject to change.

Who do I contact about a product question? 

Merck product specialists are available to chat live either online at www.merckoncall.com, or by calling 1-800-442-5624 from Monday through Thursday 8AM - 8PM ET and Friday 8AM - 6PM ET. Hours are subject to change. You can also find product-specific information for selected Merck products on Merck Connect.

Who do I contact for technical support? 

For general questions about Merck Connect, call 1-800-489-5119. We’re available to answer your calls Monday through Friday 8 AM - 7 PM ET. Voice messages left after business hours will be returned by the end of the next business day.

How do I report an adverse event? 

For adverse event reporting, call 1-866-342-5683. If you wish to report an adverse event with a specific Merck product, please call the Merck National Service Center at any time.

Does Merck comply with the Physician Payments Sunshine Act? 

Yes, Merck complies with all federal and state reporting requirements regarding our interactions with health care professionals. As such, certain resources and services available on this Web site may be reportable. The data reported may include the health care provider’s name as well as other necessary personally identifiable information as required as well as the market value of the resource or service as determined by Merck.
