      • Antibacterial activity mediated by binding to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, resulting in inhibition of protein synthesis<\/li>
      • Tedizolid inhibits bacterial protein synthesis through a mechanism of action different from that of other nonoxazolidinone-class antibacterial drugs<\/li>
